The first prototype with the new concept of the Pemex Franchise opened to the public in the municipality of Naucalpan, in the State of Mexico. The service station, which is operated by the SAIGSA gas station group, also shows the new image of the Franchise for the first time, as well as a service experience that is 100 per cent focused on consumer satisfaction.
Using this franchise model, Pemex intends to measure the impact this change will have and make the necessary adjustments together with its franchise holders, so as to offer its consumers a warm, innovative and personalized experience, while at the same time guaranteeing honesty, service, and quality.
The event was presided by Carlos Murrieta Cummings, CEO of Pemex Transformación Industrial (Industrial Transformation), and by Manuel Adonay Vargas Cuevas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo SAIGSA.
Murrieta Cummings acknowledged the SAIGSA gas station group as a great partner to spearhead this change, which will be progressive and in-depth rather than merely rebranding the service stations under the franchise, as its main goal is to maintain consumer preference for the Pemex brand and products. With this new offer, the Pemex Franchise will remain, without a doubt, as a worthy Mexican competitor in the open market with service comparable to any international brand, and will certainly remain a source of great pride for the country.
As part of this new concept, Petróleos Mexicanos is currently working on creating experiences that provide customers with added value, such as the Pemex Guide (Guía Pemex), a mobile app that not only helps motorists to locate Pemex gas stations and tracing routes to points of interest such as restaurants, hotels, and tourist centers, but which also gives its users benefits, such as special offers and discounts at various establishments, such as tourist attractions, healthcare centers, restaurants, among others.
