Today, the Board of Directors of Petróleos Mexicanos appointed Jorge Lomelín Delgadillo as its new Corporate Director of New Business Develoment and Partnerships. Lomelín has been in charge of this department for four months.
Having worked in Pemex for 15 years, he started his career as private secretary of the coordinator of the Pemex CEO’s advisory team; from 2005 to 2008 he was the coordinator of the regional representatives in the corporate communications department, where he established connections with the state governments and regional media in the country.
In 2008 he joined the Corporate Management Office as technical secretary for the Department of Human Resources and Labor Relations, and from 2012 to 2015 he was in charge of Management Control in the Corporate Operations Office, where he coordinated budgets, human resources, material resources, and performed audits
In 2015 he joined the Corporate Headquarters of New Business Development and Partnerships as coordinator of the team of advisors, and last year he was appointed as Assistant Director of Industrial Transformation Business Development.
As the head of this Department, since February this year, he has played an important role for the integration, preparation and validation of business cases that create added value for Pemex, its subsidiary productive companies and its affiliate companies, to achieve profitability throughout the company’s business lines.
Jorge Lomelín Delgadillo holds a BA in Business Management from the Universidad la Salle and a Masters specializing in Finance from the Technological University of Sydney, Australia.
